Haltwhistle Swimming & Leisure Centre is located in the heart of ‘Hadrian Wall Country’, the geographical centre of Britain.
We have a sports hall, 3 seasonal outdoor heated pools, an astro turf, a gym and a fitness studio providing a fun day out for all the family.
During busy periods, cars may use the middle school car park during the summer holidays as an overflow car park.
Visitors using the school car park are requested to ONLY park on the hard areas and are no cars are to be parked or driven on the grass. We also request that no cars cause obstruction that would prevent other car users access or emergency services to gain access to the school site.

Thanks for all the donations to our Crowdfunder appeal, we are pleased to announce we reached our target. We were overwhelmed by the support we received from our community and our customers.
Your support helped us secure the future of the Centre and ensure that we can continue to offer recreational and sporting activities which are crucial to the health and well-being of the community, especially at a time when many have been struggling to recover their mental and physical health.
The funds raised went towards the cost of getting everything ready for opening the swimming pools. It has been a difficult time and we are delighted that our community and visitors are able to use our facilities again. We look forward to seeing you.
